Shaiymade Dinner was officially launched in 2026 by founder and private chef Shaiydean Peters, following more than a decade of experience in kitchens and private events, she is ready to embark on creating memorable dining experiences. Built on the genuine love of hospitality, the business exists to bring people together through exceptional food, thoughtful service and beautifully curated moments.

A true food enthusiast, Shaiydean's cooking is shaped by a deep appreciation for flavour, quality ingredients and the stories food can tell. As a Black British Jamaican chef, many of her menus are inspired by the rich traditions, spices, and techniques of Caribbean cuisine, while drawing influence from a wide range of culinary styles. Rather than being confined to one cuisine, she creates menus that are balanced, exciting and tailored to each client's vision.

For Shaiydean, cooking has always been about more than preparing a meal. It is  genuinely about creating experiences that last. Naturally drawn to hosting, she approaches every menu with detail, creativity, and care, believing that every dish should contribute to the atmosphere and significance of the occasion.

Her passion for food began in her childhood years, where she closely studied her Mother and Late Nan in the kitchen. At a young age she began imagining 3 course menus, utilising her Nans old recipe cards. With lots of practice and patience from her family, a hobby turned into a craft. And so by the time she was a teen, she was often the person family and friends turned to whenever a celebration called for food. By early adulthood, she was creating new menus and cooking daily. That passion has continued throughout her life.

 

As a wife and mother, she has experienced first-hand how meaningful moments are often created around the table, reinforcing her belief that food has the power to connect people, create lasting memories and celebrate life's most important occasions.

Whether curating an intimate dinner for two, a family celebration or a larger private event, Shaiydean is continually inspired to explore new flavours, refine her craft and create bespoke dining experiences that feel both personal and unforgettable.
